The Noble Pig Brewhouse is a family-owned establishment located in the heart of downtown Kamloops. Their use of predominantly locally sourced ingredients and house-brewed beer makes this hotspot an authentic Kamloops destination for tourists and locals alike. Owned by two well-connected families, The Noble Pig has a significant stake in the local tourism industry and welcomes newcomers with open arms while providing a long-standing connection to Kamloops and what this unique destination has to offer.

Throwing It Way Back

In 2010, The Noble Pig Brewhouse opened its doors to serve locals and visitors of Kamloops unique craft brews, locally sourced ingredients in a sustainable manner. The brewpub has been called a “catalyst” in the development of culinary tourism in the Kamloops region while blazing the path for new breweries to open up in the area. The BC Ale Trail has recognized the Noble Pig as a staple hotspot for the Kamloops area and has promoted the brewpub as a premier destination to visit while travelling to Kamloops.

In the early years, Maeghan and Jared Summers stepped into the roles of Partners, Operations Manager and Executive Chef and have driven the Noble Pig to become an integral part of Downtown Kamloops, local events such as Brewloops and the Back Alley Block Party, and making partnerships with local purveyors such as Privato Winery, SSOL Gardens, Harper’s Trail and many other local suppliers in the Kamloops region. By using local ingredients and brewing craft beer, the Noble Pig has become a prime culinary destination and connects its visitors to the land of Kamloops through incredible food and local drinks.

More recently, the partners of the Noble Pig have embarked on their newest project and restaurant opening, Forno on 5th. By using their same mission and values of the Noble Pig, the company has continued sustainable culinary tourism development in the Kamloops region, and are on their way to shaping the future of tourism in the Thompson Okanagan.
